The Magic of Autumn

It is a daily painting and was done alla prima.

I did this for the weekly challenge on dailypaintworks which is to paint "autumn".

I have some of those cute little pumpkins and gourds. I just love them and am like a little kid wanting a new toy when they come into the stores. I know they are not edible and are just going to eventually rot...but they are just so darn cute!

This is my favorite time of the year! I love the colors of fall, and how the crisp air feels and how the air smells...and it is the beginning of decorating for the Holidays!

....time to get out all the sparklies!
