Thank you Jon! thank you for the suggestion. Actually there was a old gentleman with lovely little dog in front of my easel for a long time. I was debating if I put them in the painting. May be a good idea after your suggestion.

Nice color and brushwork (as usual!), Laura, Maybe the focal point could be developed a bit - two little figures or a bit more air and light down there at the end of the avenue?

Did you paint this scene or something similar before?  As I recall you were working out the shadows, of the trees.  Well done with this painting.
