:-) Cool! Wow it's neat to see someone make a narrative painting of my photo - TOTALLY different! Lovely treatment of the trees and bluing the little house etc. A shame you didn't get a photo reference for the people - the tree is much more finely rendered.

really like the story and painting you have done a great job. I hope you do not mind a couple of suggestions? Darken shadows for there is such a strong light you would also have strong shadows, change the branches that are a strange angle into a fallen branch(or remove them)

Thank you all for your comments. I agree Xiao Li, my branches could use a little more accuracy . Me and my trees are a work in progress. Thank you all so much for your interest. P.S. the house  was a cut out that I traced on to the painting after I did the background and it was completely dry. Thanks again everyone.

Very interesting. Nice story, but the two branches extending toward us look a little odd.
