AMAZING!  It's beautiful, certainly, but it also has some terrific technical strengths -- depth, lost and found edges, wonderful tones and values, great balance.

Thank you Fay and Ann- you've made me feel it wasn't so bad after all! Ann - it's hard to imagine those temperatures at the moment - today I'm finding a cool place by the river and sketching with a friend from Canada who's escaping from the cold.

This rose is absolutely beautiful Robin.  I love the way you've painted the table top, the background and the shading on the cloth as well.

Its a beauty done in Acrylic Robin. I wouldn't touch it. On this side of the world its cool and rainy with temp in the 60's to 50's. A little cool for plein air but great weather for acrylics.

The paint was drying on my brush before I could get to the canvas in our hottest January for years so thinking of overpainting with oils and packing up my acrylics till winter!
