anne - i really like the clean colors in this
Anne, You are such a nice lady and thank you for encourage me in your way. I am really flattered. Your painting is beautiful. And looking forward to see more from you. Good luck and happy painting.
Thank you Li for you positive comments. I admire your paintings so I am thankful for any compliments from you. An excellent source photo and a limited pallet contributed to me making a reasonable attempt at this challenging workshop.
Anne, I just come back from the countryside. I eagerly went to looking for this picture and ask myself why it pleased me so much. I agree with all the comments about your work. Apart from all those, I want to tell you that the things impress me most are that you skillfuly handled the colour harmony and colour contrast , I know that include a lot of technics and you did them very well. And you simplified the scene with confident brush trokes, with the same way you show us the perspective of your painting without loose the charm of the colour harmony. Your three sisters stand there also make your composition very interesting. Congradulations, Anne, you did a Wonderful job.
Thanks everyone for your kind comments. This exercise has taught me a lot. I think with landscapes, I prefer evening and morning light to get those more intense colours and deep shadows.
This is definitively one of my favorites for the workshop, lovely use of cool and warm colors!
Very nice job.
Hi Anne - nice and bright - and I like the way you have done the background. I like your rocks. What a beautiful source pic. Beautiful light.
