'Cut Lemon'

12 x 16 inches

My first still life. Built a light-box (old cardboard box), set the objects and the light and had fun. Painted quickly, keeping it loose. I concentrated on the brush-strokes, one pass, planned, and that was it. The background was the most difficult, actually.
