I started working on this one yesterday. I like the composition, but I am not happy with the colour harmony. I feel like the blue of the ocean is to blue and rich, and that it simply doesnt belong there. I would apreciate any suggestions or ideas :)

Thank you Ann for your comment. Yes I felt like I had a nice composition here. There are some obvious drawing that needs to be corrected. But I didnt bother about that for now. I am more interested in getting the colour and mood of the painting first. But thank you for your suggestions, they are apreciated :)

This is such a powerful painting. The perspective is swooping and the subject is powerful. It's hard to get balance when the subject is so strong on one side. Try to move some of the deep grey that is under the bridge in the square section to the water, keeping some of the deep blue for balance but less intensity. As the water moves away from the viewer add some of the blue grey from the sky down into the water. Check the horizon line, it seems a little slanted to the right in the photo also check the perspective on the forward grey column it seems to lean toward the center just a little. It may be a photo problem and not a painting problem. I hope this helps and doesn't hinder. You have a creative approach to painting that I appreciate. There are so many great artists on this site that know so much more than I do,some other advice might help more than mine. Repost when you finish. HAPPYPAINTING
