Thanks for the comments guys. I appreciate them very much. This painting is almost finished. It is painted from smaller pencil and oil sketches from the river that day. Also with the help from photos. I will upload the final version when its done :)

Reminds me of a storm cloud that followed me for miles parallel to the road and I didn't have a camera to get it.

Everybody inside, the storm is coming!  Wow! You did it!  I remember being in Washington and seeing the force of nature coming upon the land. Good job! I really want to paint a landscape scene like this. I'm going to do it one day! Thank you!
