Well, it looks like a post card (Holiday greetings from Clacton-Sea or something ;( ) and the horizon is nicely in the middle!, but, above all, the vice president told me I'd used up my value budget for the year .. so... gulps...

Thomas - that sort off sky is inspired by Marc Delessio - do you know his stuff?
Thanks, Dor! Hmm, the sky....
I love your water! For me, I would like you to improve the sky. ;-)..........Smiles ;-)
Thanks, Thomas - good to hear from you!
Elizabeth - OK - noted - ya!
Love the red boats you like to paint. Really they are wonderful and so pleasing to see. And the horizon doesn't really disturb me much with so much going on around it, it is broken up enough to not pay attention to it. Very nice.
Aurélia - yeah - no place like home! Bon voyage...
Ann - thanks for the comments - actually I think they go out in the evening to fish at night mostly - but here it seems to be midday - he's leaving after he sold his catch on the market. Midday is a baaad time for interesting light... LOL
I like this version alot Jon. I guess I like the postcard effect ! I especially like the red bright light touched boat and the energy in the water in front. The warmer color makes the painting for me.
Not really. I am leaving on Sunday for South Africa again. I am so sick and tired of traveling!! I just want to be at home and paint for a change! Did some drawing today. Its up at the VAA website.
