Why o why is white so hard to paint. The value and color transitions are so subtle. Richard, how about doing a couple of lessons in painting white objects ?

Wow!  I missed this one...  (Where was I?)  Beautiful!  I love those lines and contrasts -- not just the colors; the shapes and textures are just gorgeous!

Good idea.  I would love a workshop with the primary objective of white. What, for example, is the difference between titanium white, zinc white and (oh,  oh .... senior moment here!) 

Love this painting, too.  I'm always impressed with your work.
