 As a white water paddler I can tell you this…When you make it through one rapid..you hope you can take a brief rest in an eddy if your skilled enough to get into one…If not you just make your way through the next rapid and so on…Luckily …the rivers may widen and level in areas, where you can then float for a while……I am also very skilled at "swimming with my boat " for those occasions when I don't quite make it through the rapid. Resilience has many forms !

Does one ever really make it thru the rapids of life?  Or is life a series of rapids with floating between them.  Beautiful paintings you are creating.
