Ás my purpose to be involved into this project is to learn, I would like the idea that everybody paint the same subject so that I can appreciate different interpretation  and expression from all the other memers. In this way I can see the distance and improve my work.  Another reason is that at the end of each workshop, when Richard make a comment on one of our paintings, I would understand his point better.

I go for the landscape from Richard's photo to keep up with our progress.... then maybe branch out to new ideas.

i voted for clouds because I love to paint them but we will get to that eventually. If it is landscape, I agree with all of you that adding water to the composition would be an excellent choice!

I would be happy to go on to another landscape to keep learning in the same vane as 1st Snow but sunset, water it's all a challenge. I'm also very interested in how and what about the image picked to consider for painting. This first month has only given a first baby step, more of the same, Please.

Yes, It would be nice to have a photo with water. A pond , lake or river or for that matter , the big blue ocean. Cheers.

I would like to keep going with landscape because what we learned in w.shop 1 may apply here.regards Lorri
