Pauline, thank you for your time to tell me this.
Hi Ningning, it was your distant grass i was referring to, not your flowers they are beautiful. i think it was just the warmth in your distant grass which could have been a bit cooler. but its fantastic as usual anyway.....:-))
Thanks Catherine for your approval.
Pauline, thank you so much for your time to comment on this work. Two painters named Michael pointed out the same problem. You are so right that it is so difficult to surrender my feelings(sometimes wild,). Let me try to do something and upload here. Again, your warm words and encouragement cheer me up in the middle of depressing grey winter here. It means a lot to me.
You have achieved your distant greys beautifully Ningning, but you are a true colourist at heart and it always wins the day. I would agree with Michael if you were to grey down that distant grass taking out the warmth of the orange there it just might turn a fantastic painting into a master.....your seagulls are amazingly convincing might i add.....great job as usual :-))
Thanks Xiao Li. I think that I have to keep on learnning mix greys.
Looking good Ningning!
