Looks like Georgia cotton ready for pickin.. I like it!
Very cool Stuart. May I ask (I'm a total beginner)...do you under paint the whole thing with one color then go at it, or do you just paint on the white surface? I've seen some people start with say a redish/green (or whatever) spashed all over the canvas. Then he outlines shapes with charcoal, then adds color. By the end, there isn't a hint of the under paint but it's beautiful. Why does he do all that?
