Don't I know it! I call murals "intangibles" because you just know they will be gone in a few yrs... painted over. In this particular house in the under sea room I painted the most awesome dolphins.. life size and when the new owners came in they painted them out...well actually the owner of the painting co had a plasterer come in and remove them and had me sign the wall section and then had the wallboard replaced. The owners were in Europe and had no idea...

So funny. I have done a few murals and one underwater job. BUT there was one fish in it that was really cool. Hated leaving him on the wall. :)

Thank-you so much Deb. I love painting large. I was told once that when a client tells me they want the whole room painted with a mural on all the walls my eyes glitter and glaze over, lol! I had a client a few yrs back with hex shaped rooms that I got to an paint undersea mural in... I was in heaven!

Thanks so much. It is large and I love the big ones myself. Love knowing it is acrylic because that is where I am experimenting now. Painting this week is looking grim. Sure want to start soon. I have not posted anything in a while. Blessings. You are good and I am so glad to have the opportunity to see your work.

Oh, I'm sorry. It is on canvas and about 32" x 40" and acrylic. Not huge but big enough, lol.

LOL Deb, One of my friends is a professional painter in NY and he said, "All this painting say's to me is... Look at me I can paint wood!" It hurt my feelings at first but I've been a muralist and a faux painter most of my life so I suppose I was saying that without meaning to.. I'm thick skinned as an artist so this is just my faux dock window.
