Oil, gallery wrapped stretched canvas, 12x36",
It took me 23 days to complete this process of layering to build the clouds. The photo reference was taken at Bottomless Lakes State Park near Roswell, NM.

I learned about pointillism to make the transition from one color up and into the next color.
