Thank you Richard for your sugestion for improving my painting. I always thought there was something boreing about the right upper third but couldn't think how to fix it. I liked the branch idea :)

Hello Dianne,
Very nice! I like the addition of your branch it adds depth to your work. I am captivated by your water, too

I like this picture very well, here it happens a lot. But could not the colors in the far back be a litle colder and lighter. To me it looks like the colors in the right front corner is very similar to the background.

Thank you Diane for your know-how, I will try it when I have to paint waves.

Diane, I have not finished mine so that I should not critique your work. But I really like you. Teacher suggested you put a bruch at right. When I was still not sure right of the hill or of the painting, you already did it. I like your bruch, the shape, the color are nice.  Teacher said the sky can be more interesting, if I were you, I will try put a little bit pinky color in the sky, to make it warmmer.  In order not ruin your finished work you may first try the color combination on another piece of canvas. If you like the result put it  on your master piece.   By the way, how do you make those beautiful waves. what type of brush you use  and  how to  paint those white splashes?
