Thanks Siobhan. The tree is a type of willow and does branch off close to the ground. It is a great tree for family pics as the branches are low and thick enough for people to sit on, or 2 or 3 can sit against the trunk

Thanks Susan. Yes we had a White Christmas but it was -20 Celsius

Love the subtle colours, can feel the cold and wilderness.. Main tree bothered me though, don't know if it's because of perspective or its buried rather too deeply in the snow or I'm not familiar with tree type. Overall very subtly atmospheric.

I'm jealous, I live in New England and it's going to be 60 degrees here tomorrow!  Pretty painting!
