Good to know that this painting is being featured at the Painters Universe @ http://fineartamerica.com/groups/painters-universe-.html. Thanks Mary for the feature of my artwork, Winter Scene. It's an honor.

Thanks Gail for taking your time and make your comments. This is my first time to paint snowscape, and this painting is on my experimental stage. Thanks again, your comments are very much appreciated.

Hi Remegio,
I love this winter scene. I like the way you have caught the sunlight on the snow, both on the ground and the trees. There is a nice amount of movement for the eye when following the snow drifts, and the trees keep the eyes centred on the view. Really nice. :-)) .

Thanks for your comments Peter. You are right on that, the snow capped evergreen trees look unnatural. It's really hard to depict this kind of tree especially if you don't actually live in the area where they grow, and then you are trying to paint them snow-capped. Me neither, I don't live in that kind of environment, and i just discovered they look unnatural and incorrect. But anyway, yours is a good input on this because I have just started painting in oil just about 3 months ago. I need to do more research, hahaha! Thanks Peter.
