#30 of 365 Paintings in 365 Days
Oil on canvas. 16x20 inches

Plein Aire in my backyard which overlooks a large farm.

I just made it before the end of the month for this past month's workshop, but did not make the deadline to post it.

Learning Points:
1. Painting outside in the freezing cold.
2. Painting quickly with limited time for light at sunset
3. Premixing colors before going outside and using a limited palette
4. Atmospheric
5. Light diffusion
6. Angle of shadows

I like the little tree off to the right. It caught my eye. The colors are right on and I can certainly feel the cold! WALDA
