Wolves for Dad

My Dad asked me if I'd paint him some wolves so I gave it a shot. Original reference photo by Jasper Doest. I usually like painting with lots of colors but knew Dad would like something more "realistic" but I found fur very difficult. Tips and critiques welcome.
