Johannes is Johannes Vollthuis.  He has a website at www.improvemypaintings.com.  He is teaching art courses online systematically.  He has been giving "golden nuggets" for "rules" of designing a painting.  I am not sure how the well establilshed artists like you will think of him,  but for binginners like me, his courses are very helpful.

Hi, Elfrida,  this painting is nicely done.  Just to give you my "gut response".  As Johannes taught us, that you don't have to show individual grass stain in the fore front, just a few near your focal point.  I think he is right.
