Interesting title and peaceful scene. You bird is really concentrate on looking for something to eat

Thanks, Montalvo.  When I thought I'd finished I saw the "cut out" hard edges all around and tried to soften...  I've got to "loosen up" -- I try, but then I start niggling.  Next time I'm going to work with a #10 brush

This is so cute. I like the way he's looking at his reflection wondering if his beak is food. That's what im perceiving in my mind. I love the reflection of browns on top. I need to work on that. You did a great job  on balancing color.
