Workshop 20

This afternoon I tried the large and loose approach style using a painting from The Painterly Approach by Bob Rohm. The 6 step illustrations kept me on track and as a beginner I need all the help I can get! I removed my tag from my other painting because I want to let it dry and then revise it using the good feedback I received from my painting friend Michael.

But I was pleased with the way they turned out. I'm trying to paint looser. Nice to see you joined this website. Its been very helpful to me.

I really struggled with the goal of this workshop because nothing was working. I'm sure you have all been there! Then on the last day I painted this in 5 hours and felt like it flowed.. so maybe I learned something this month!. I like vibrant colors but sometimes it gets me in trouble.

Unbelievable burning colours. I also noticeed that your use different layers to creat texture. I am planing to do so for my next work. I think it makes a painting more professional look. Linda, I love this one.
