Ann and Silvana, I appreciate your special comments
I like the rich golden tones of the water and reflected glow on the house.
Great Sharon!!!
Thanks so much Hazel, Ngaire and Steinunn and all the "likes" this has been a fun one. I think next time I will paint it first and then follow Richard's instruction and see the difference. It definitely helped to have his step by step instruction.
Lovely Sharon.
Nice glow, it has a lovely sunset feeling.
Thanks Olivia, George, Linda and Michael and the "likes." I don't have yellow ochre or the the gray Richard used so I mixed a warm gray and used Indian Yellow. I like the way Richard used a paper towel to give the appearance of weeds in the tall grass, highlight the bright area and to break up the colors in the side of the boat. I tried using the palette knife on the edges but I need to practice that more ;-)
Really lovely Sharon. I like those"orange dots" and the lovely colours in your dark bush
Beautiful glowing light in the entire scene. I like the most the orange-red spots which makes the difference.
