I'm looking forward to getting back into landscapes again - still life's are not really my thing I'm afraid.

Hazel, your colour combination is very nice and soothing. I almost choose a jar had a complicated design like yours. then I gave up as I knew it would make my job more difficult. Richard in his demo also let us using some simple shape.Would you like to try and see whether it would be more peaceful , if you erase the patten on the jar? if you do not like it, you still can put it back.  Just a suggestion. Li
