20 x 20 cm, Acrylic on canvasboard.
I've used one of the resource photos of Richard and one of my own, for the chickens on the tree-trunk. Again a very funny painting to make. Because the photo I've taken from my painting is slightly darker than the original painting, I've also made this scan. It resembles the original much more. I'm not quite sure which one I prefer.

Pauline, I just went to all comments and my activitylist, I'm a bit behind in reply on everything.Thank you so much for liking my painting, I really appreciate it ^_^
Thank you, Pauline, for your nice comment. The colours where an accident, I've used the wrong red colour, to blue, but I really like how it turned out.
Hi Rita, love your style here. The lovely brown/reddy colour of the chickens and barn going right through the painting bringing everything together works so beautifully. The spotlighting on all tho'es gorgeous chucks on centre stage is superb.....well done! :-)))
Hi Dor,...^_^ I did the same and I think I like this one more, i'ts lighter but the colours resembles my painting more. Especially the colour of the bright sand looks great in this photo, not as yellow in the first photo. On the other hand.....the first one looks sharper.... the chickens have more colour....difficult :( I just couldn't deside which one I should up-load.
Used the previous and next button to go back and forth to make up my mind. Have decided I like the lighter coloring in this one best. I love all your chickens.......smiles : ))
