This is my first workshop with Richard Robinson. I hope that I have used my tags correctly. If I haven't I have had fun.

I like your painting very much. It is the closest alike with mine; “Early morning sunrise at Pounders Beach”. I found many interesting information about the place before I start my work and after seeing yours I believe this is what you did too. Your painting is complete and represents the place relief characteristic. The background is marked by a mass of high and massive mountain peaks, which are few miles away from the beach. The limestone cliff is a popular spot for shoreline fishermen. (I am thinking to add the fisherman in my painting). The beach tree is there and well done. The green grass on the stone is a perfect middle ground which helps for the painting perspective. Waves are great. Congratulations! George
Very beautiful, love the colours of the sea, Barbara. Well done!!
Thank you Pauline
Nice mountains Barbara, and lovely movement in your sea...
Thank you so much Joan, for commenting. I have had fun doing this workshop and hope to do another.
Hello Barbara, You did a wonderful job of adding those background mountains yet keeping them pushed back and softened so they do not compete with your focal point. My first painting will be coming shortly for critique, I am a very tight painter and this will be my first ocean painting. It is still to wet to put on my scanner. I am excited to be painting with Richard and he will surely loosen me up. Hope so.
Thank you Jess for your comment
