Didn't put a tag for last entry because it was to late.Saw Micaels painting and thought the same about his intentions.Maybe he wants to give others a chance because his work is always excellent...Ha -ha..Thanks for your advise.))
Elize
Here is Michael's painting........ http://thecompleteartist.ning.com/photo/workshop21-re-shoot?context...
You don't see it because he deliberately or accidentally did not put a tag in!

I just noticed something. Where are your tags? You can put them in now. They must be there to show that this is an entry for workshop21! But perhaps it is too late : (( This is what it should look like Tags: Workshop21
Sorry about my English, Elize. I mean that as I am not an experienced photographer, I do not use light. Because artificial light change the tone of the colour of my painting. My case is that it make my painting colour very warm. If you do not know how to chose an artificial light, use natural light is best way.
Better not use light, if you are not experienced like me. Richard has a video of how to take photos. Please check it at the page of Workshop. Good luck, Elize.
Am I stupid or why dont I see Michael's painting on the entries??((
Thanks for your advise Ningning.I'm trying to find a better way to photograph my work. The natural light in this room is very bright,I think thats the reflection you see...Took another one ...
Elize, I enjoy your colour combination very much and value contrast is good too, apart from what Michael mentioned about the part of under pier. This photo seems like have reflection on it. Or you use very little paints. If paints is the reason, I would suggest you use more paints because it would make the colour more beautiful. Just an idea.
Nice painting Elize! Smiles coming your way : ))
Thanks Michael, very tempted to add more detail, but trying to paint more loose. Will definitely follow your advise, will add photo later again.
