CONGRATULATIONS Ningning!!! Happy for you :-)
Nancy, Thanks. You are so right, the contrast of the value and tempreture of the colour make the painting more dramatic. Thanks to Richard's teaching.
Gina, I am glad that you enjoy it. Thanks.
Wow, Li. Beautiful.
Adam, I am very happy that you like it. In fact, there is a place called "Punta Negra" near Lima, where I am living now, has the almost same scenery like this. I spent a few hours there to feel it. When I was painting this one, I felt that I was on the site enjoying the last glorious moment of the day. Richard's technique and my feelings made it works. Thank you, Adam, for your encouragement.
This really is well done, thank you for sharing.
gorgeous painting!
Love the way you worked the warm and cool colors. Really nice :)
Sharon, to answer your question, it was painted wet on wet. Then I corrected some small mistakes the next day. I found that wet on wet can make the glowing and color changes more natural. But it was not pleine aire as I did not paint on site. I just followed Richard teaching.
