My dear Nancy, many thanks. I have to confess that I am not that good. The glowing effect is the reflection when I took the photo.  Still can not find a perfect location to photo my paintings.

The rocks are terrific, the trees are even better and you even got a glowing effect that draws the eye into the scene. Beautiful painting...as always.

Matha, thank you so much for your comment which warmed my heart. I am watching you too. I can feel your up and down on the journey of learning like me and most of us here. You are also work very hard, I saw at least 4 piece of works for this W46, amazing energetic effert!  I used to use very little oil, those oil sank into the canvas, the colour looks poor and weak. Richard encourage us use more oil paint, I see his reason, so I tried but still have to rememd myself to put some more. So, Matha, from next one, you can try it. It need time to get used to it. I know You Can do it.  We both are progressing,through the teaching of Richard and other friends' s encouragement. Let's keep on working hard, we will be much better in near future.  Happy painting, Martha.

Hi Ningning, I voted..but didn't have time last night to make a comment. I like the way the rocks leads my eye down the hill. Straight down the pasture below.I love seeing your strokes and using lots of oil on that brush of yours. Something that I need to do to give the painting form and life. Ive watched you for quite some time and like your style. Your always surprising me,and I have learned a lot from just watching your creativity blossom. Hugs Martha
