Believe it or not, this is my try at painting looser. I thought I was until I stepped back. sigh. I even followed Richard's technique of not drawing first, but I guess I just reworked it to death.
The antique/patina look is just because the weather is cloudy today and I couldn't get a better shot.

I like the way the fabric appears to be satin with a shear layer over it like some table runners.  (much prettier than a towel)  I find it difficult to do this without a sketch but you did a very nice job.  The little cup really stands out as realistic.
