Still some things to fix, but I have very little time this month so I don't think the final version will differ that much from this one.

Awesome work. So good to have an artist of your calibre here. Sets the bar!

Holy Moly, Paulo! I think I need to just give it up now. I'll never be this good.

Wow that is really beautiful work Paolo - lots of time put into this! Great to see. I would like to see a bit more variation in the sky and other background tree top left and maybe some more warms in the right hand cliff. I guess you're onto that though. Looks great.

Paolo,

You have achieved some nice effects in this painting. Your eye gets swept away by the slopes of the rock formations and guides you into beautiful color and soft movement of the water and lets your tree be a star.

I love the work on the trunk/tree, that could stand alone as a composition....your have a good mix of soft and hard edges.  I found the rocks difficult and choose to make a more solid cliff. ... the rocks on the left were rendered wonderfuly...great shadow and light play...I could go on and on  - LOVE IT

Must say that if anything is distracting it would be the similarity of the rocks on the right. And they are so different from those on the left in their form.

I agree with Marta. I messed with Ress valley and added to much. Never joined the competition, but thought I would give it a try and didn't like what I ended up with.

Paolo, I've seen you added another tree in the other one. It was to distracting for me. I'm choosing this one. I don't know anything about placement on canvass (or digital work) or how to capture the viewers attention when painting.

In this work,  my eye goes straight to the ocean and that beautiful tree. This one gets my vote. Good luck!

Paolo, what a striking painting! I really like the rugged rocks and the gnarly tree. This will get my vote for sure.

I would love to be able to portray light the way you do.
