Linen canvas, 14 x 20 cm, watersoluble oil.
Finally finished my little painting of Yana. She looks cute between those flowers. I love her green eyes, but I'm not quite happy with how the lights in her eyes turned out.
Because of healthproblems with traditional oils, or more the solvent within, I now use watersoluble oils. I first tried a cheeper brand, but they give me headache. My new oils are so much better, they are worth the expense. It is like they say: cheap bargains are dear.

Thanks for your nice comment, Yana is a cat with problems, she almost died last winter, but sweet.
Thanks for your information about the use of linseed oil for thinning, and the odorless products. That's the reason I discontinue painting with a group. They all use traditional products and the even varnish in the same room, so not really healthy. I'm prone to migraines to, so thanks for mention, now I don't have to wast my other oil paint.

Hi Rita, I like your kitty!  Regarding the paints....I started with water soluables for fear of headaches, since I'm prone to migraines.  Then I read about "odorless" mineral spirits and decided to give real oils a try.  I use linseed oil for thinning and that has no odor also.  I'm happy to say...I have not had any issues at all.  :)  So, I thought I'd mention the odorless products in case you don't want to waste your other oil paints.
