A YouTube video demonstration of the recent study of a favorite master artist, William Trost Richards. "The Otter Cliffs, Mount Desert Island, Maine painted in 1866. (American 1843-1905) With much research I was also able to discover Richards' palette colors. The study was in the Flemish method and I first did a tone study before the color layer. Hope you enjoy the video. I feel it was an exercise well worth my time.
