Do you have any goals for your painting?

I have just retired from Apple Computer and now have time to do what I have been preparing for and planning during my 40 years as a photographer. My niche material is Ireland with the best kodachromes from the 1970's taken with a Nikon Camera. I have only finished one oil and realize that I know nothing and need to learn everything about painting, especially color.
