Who are your favourite 2 artists?

I have many, but I love Monet and many of the Impressionists as well as the Tonalists. For contemporary artists I also like many, including Mark Tougias (www.marktougias.com). I love the way he conveys atmosphere in particular, which is why I was attracted to your artwork as well.

Do you have any goals for your painting?

I am a plein air landscape painter and one of my current goals (besides trying to break into the selling market) is to learn how to achieve atmospheric and aerial perspective, how to really nail value and color better, improve my brushwork, and get better at my foregrounds which I think always give me problems.
