Profile Information

How would you categorize your painting style?
Sometimes plein air, sometimes abstract with landscapes as inspiration, sometimes from pictures of landscapes that I find on the internet, which I change or simply invert. If there is anything that characterizes me in painting, is that I like various styles, and various materials and techniques. Sometimes I follow a line and thus develop a series, but I see it as exercise, refusing to sacrifice the pleasure of painting because of the consistency eventually expected by others.
Which medium do you prefer? eg. oils, acrylics, etc.

Welcome Jorge. I too am new but see you are often online when I am! Visited Portugal two years ago, loved the countryside. Apart from Lisbon went to Porto plus another beautiful town with a wonderful castle, for a porcelain painting seminar with Filipe Periera. New Zealand is relatively new in comparison and so far away, sadly.
