(I really struggle to stop even at three!)

Do you have any goals for your painting?: Yes I sure do. I'm an emerging artist who has come to have a chance to explore whether I have "what it takes" relatively late in life. I want to make up lots of lost time. I'd love to capture the majesty of NZs mountains, the cozy alpine hut life, the atmosphere of our wild West Coast weather, simple NZ farm life, the innocence of children and the list could go on...

It is the time element for the slice that is the problem...After reading the notes from Silvana and Lori, I took a strong look at the pieces and the fact that for everyday this week, and into the next I have workers here for various repairs, upgrades and getting all the winter mess cleaned up and getting the inside readied as well. Any free time I've had, I've been painting letting everything else go, and now there is much to do. If Richard does this again, I hope to be in a place to participate fully. I know that I know, that it would be fool-hardy and disappointing for me and the other artists to give this less than my best effort. Unlike Christina, it would take me more than a couple hours with oils and matching...the remaining pieces are more than blades of grass and in the focal point of the painting. If I were 45 or even 50 again, perhaps I could slosh through with no sleep...no longer, lol! So, just not possible this go around, again thanks so much for your thoughts and encouragement!
