Who are your favourite 2 artists?

1. Edgar Payne - I attended an exhibition of his work at the Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento a few years ago and was inspired by his brushwork. I am currently reading his book on composition.
2. Guy Rose - Not the most well known of the California Impressionists, but I like his tighter brushwork and massing of color. One of his landscapes is on permanent display at the Crocker.

Do you have any goals for your painting?

I have an opportunity to devote 100% of my time over the next few months to my painting and I want to go as far as this opportunity will take me. I am very motivated to achieving this goal.
