Painting a yellow rose

Thought I´d share this short video with you guys. I was mostly interested in the colors in the shadows of the flower. I was mixing warms and cools to get a lively looking shadow. There was a surprising amount of green in the shadows.

I had a closed look into your photos. Several of them show very good paitings, which i suppose you have done.

Your work remainded me, among many others, of a painter whose channel in Youtube i subscribed, Jos Van Riswick. You probably know about him..

Thank you for the comment. I was actually thinking about doing what you suggested and make a slower version of it. I will post if when I get the chance to do it.

I just watched it. Fantastic work. I agree with you about the shadow colours. Unfortunatly, i suppose, the video was speeded up. It would be great to see it during a longer period of time, piece by piece. Great!
