We have a similarity - we both live on islands and in the north. I live in the sub arctic of Canada, on a little island Village of Fort Simpson population 1,200. 

I'm hoping that I can connect, share, and find a like minded community here as I've been painting in relative isolation for too long. It looks like this is a wonderful place to start. I've purchased Richard's Mastering Colour video, even though I was trained as an art teacher years and years and years…ago. I've forgotten so much. I'm excited now - to paint, to meet artists, to watch the video….mercy…too much fun for this wonderful Saturday in August…..

I look forward to sharing, learning, and finding new artist friends ….
