http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bottomless_Lakes_State_Park and http://www.emnrd.state.nm.us/PRD/bottomless.htm and http://www.emnrd.state.nm.us/PRD/bottomlessphototour.htm These will show you where I am right now. We move to a ne location on Monday. We have traveled full time (all the time) since 1998. I get to go to so many beautiful locations and take photos of them for my paintings. /// I e-mailed my friend and ask what she used for texture - 50% modeling paste and 50% Heavy Gel Medium. Here is one of her paintings. She said it is heavy in texture, but they dont show up as much in the photos http://community.how-to-draw-and-paint.com/photo/lost-in-the-beauty-of-the/next?context=user Ro

Hi & Welcome Marina!
I have just found you and looked through your lovely gallery. Rather than comment on each individual work, I though I would just say how much I enjoyed the way you portray light in your paintings against those lovely lively darks you use. Thank you for sharing your work with us. :-))

Good morning, I saw your comment to RR about English being your second language. I want to assure you that you speak English very well, and even if you did not it would not matter! I have a French speaking friend on another site who uses a translation program. That makes English a little strange, but we still can communicate well enough to have become good friends. I already told this story to some one recently. Hope it was not you. he he Ro

I dont have a crimson red. Which Cad Y? I have cad Y light, med, dark. You method produces beautiful results. I need to be bold and try something a little "wild" just to see what it will do. fun
Ro /// I will have to think about my colors (I have a zillion) and try something. /// Oh, you did not mention what sizes your paintings are. // We are just going into fall here. Do you know where New Mexico, USA is?

Marina, there are never dumb questions.......you can ask me anything! // Friends....you can chat back and forth and not ask people to be your friend. I tend to ask people that I am impressed with their art because I think they are better than me and I want to keep track and maybe learn something. I find that I can "find" the person again if they are on my friends list and I want to share something with them that I just found out. -- Sites such as this are totally so you can interact so do not feel like you would intrude, get involved and make friends. // If you see a painting on the PHOTOS gallery, just click on it and when it gets bigger, there will be a place to leave comments. // I will always have and take time to visit with YOU! he he // Would you mind sharing how you prepare the canvas with deep color and texture.? I love the effect. Ro

Hi Zibeth
Your picture immediately caught my eye because I saw "Bloemfontein"! I am an old Kovsie and went back last year for a solo exhibition at Liedjiesbos. Good good memories of the Free State. Thanks for the advise on the blogs - will do so.
Groete!

Hi, I just thought I would pop over and give you a big welcome to the site. I have made so many friends here. I hope you will find new friends and encouragement too. // As a jump start for you, the paintings are under the tab PHOTOS. I encourage you to not only look at the beautiful art, but also take a moment and leave a comment of encouragement. I believe all artists enjoy receiving some feedback from other artist. There will be times when you will be able to leave an idea or a trick that you have learned to be helpful to the person. // I look forward to seeing your art. Ro
