Thanks for the newfound friendship Gail. Every time this happens, I feel wow, its so nice having artists as friends, even though far away and wide apart, that special "connection" bring us all together.
So for 1 mold and 1 deckle, whatever that is, the present price is 490 British Pounds. That is if you can get can hold of it... I checked on USebay and UKebay and there is no mention of such an item at all. Whoever has got them is definitely holding on to them. So besides being handmade and silky soft, why is the paper so expensive?? Thanks too for your thorough effort in finding this info..!!
Thank you. I will not let it bother me. I reckon watercolorists are pretty resilient. :)) I agree with you, for me it's about fun and friendship too. Have a great day. It's nice to know you're just across Bass Straights.
Yes, it's close to my window, so I can observe a lot of birds. This Flemish Jay visite our garden often, and now at the moment I am painting this one. It's almost finished. So here is the photo, the painting will follow soon. He is swallowing the whole peanut, brrr.
Thank you for your comments on my birds. I appreciate it.
I will have a look at your work later.
The Blue Jay in the snow was used for our Christmas card this year. People love it.
I agree that he should have a shelter :) The birds in my garden have one, there is a lot of snow here at the moment. See photo below, this is in my garden.
Maybe all your ideas about "PC180007" were right. Most of my works are totally open to interpretation and its just as well coz I'm not always sure what they mean. I like Salvador's comment which was something to the effect of, "Just because I don't know the meaning of what I do, does not mean it has no meaning." ... or sumptin like that.
Thanks for the welcome and comments. The guy taking a bow on the moon you commented on is from a series called, "When Clowns Dream". That guy is taking a bow before the biggest audience imaginable and the fact that his act is so small and humble means nothing to him sharing his dream with the universe. Your sketch book is powerful. Self taught you say. I take my hat off to your discipline.
LOL finally found my page and the comments here. Thank you for the warm welcome Gail. And there are very good airbrushers over there, they're just hard to find.
Hi Hail and thank you for the friend request. Yes it will be...has been a challenge. I've avoided painting most of my life for this reason. Time to squash the demon. I enjoyed looking through your photos. You are a wonderful artist :) Oh! Also, I grew up around Victoria Virginia, USA :b
