I knew you'd ask me that question! I don't know him personally, but my ex has studied a lot with him and is a wonderful painter himself. Perhaps one day I will study with him. I have read his book and watched his DVDs.
I have the video, thanks! I will do the December workshop, but don't have any time this month. Going on vaca to MD. These workshops are really helping me, even if I am only reading and observing this month! Some time in the future, I plan on painting Reese valley, also! Thanks a lot for all you do, Richard.
Hi Richard! My area was hit hard by a snow storm, no heat or lights for a week! I missed the end of the workshop, and who was the favorite, etc... and who won, and the video that a few people were talking about during workshop 2.
By the way... I LOVE the painting of PAH BEACH! just love it. You are by far the best painting, love your style.
Hi Richard, I'm sorry to be a bother, but I don't seem to have the video that everyone is talking about. Could you send it to me please? Thanks, Sharon
I found your site while viewing videos on YouTube, which lead to your online class I'm currently enrolled in. I love the videos and would like to buy one of your DVDs, but after looking over them, I've no idea which is what I need. All would be great, but impractical for the budget, so I'm hoping you can point me toward the correct one for my needs. I've go a BFA, but never got any real instruction so feel as if I'm just a beginner, somewhere between kindergarten and first grade. You can check out my Sept submission to get an idea of where I am. I did a watercolor, because I am waiting for canvas board to arrive before I do any oils. (I've ordered several smallish ones rather than the large ones I've stretched.) Which DVD do you recommend?
hello Richard, I had intedend to take place in your Jul 28 painting. This would have been my first, submissission. I quite clearly missed something and believd I had more time until 27th Sept. I am a fairly level headed individual and I do not know how that happened, and how I missed the date It's never happened before
Now I am unable to view or find all paintings submitted, which is frastrating. May be age and Im no longer compatible with the way things are being put together. There appears to be lot of enenery putting everything together but no thouhgh to finding information or stragey fot acces, or being in a cohereant fashion. This could cause a long term overload, where the confusion takes over from the obejct of the paint teach and learn process. presented in a coherant fashion. Which would be a big shame because its a jolly good idea, I know you claim ,its a social network and indeed I think most of us would want it that way. But the paint, teach, competition aspect of this social nework needs a strategy so both aspect/features turn it to something cohesive and not invasive.
What paintings you have done!!! WOW If I can only learn a little from you and the group. Thank you, the computer is co-operating with the help of my grandson.
Richard,I apologise in advance if my questions seem a little daft, but I'm still learning the ropes on how to get around this site. When I first joined up I was curious and looking around at everything. I saw the "Badge" box and clicked on it to see what that was all about and lo there popped up my photo. Now it seems that I have a badge but I don't know what it means and I'm not that keen to see my photo staring back at me and probably every one else every time I open up the site. What is it and how do I get rid of it?
Hi Richard. I have noticed that there are only 13 photo's in the Month 1 workshop. However, as I look through members photos, I am noticing quite a few paintings were obviously painted for the workshop. Are people having difficulty uploading photo's ? thank you
Richard, How can I pay you. I do not have a credit card. Is it possible for you to email your bank details. I would love to do the online workshops ... Kind regards Lynb
Great! If I can come and go as I need, count me in. I'd love a challenge painting occasionally.Maybe then I'll get something painted. Let me know what I need to do, when.
Hi Richard - been away for awhile - moved countries and setting up life all over again.
Have not been on the site much but am totally intrigued by your workshop idea so count me in please. - maybe not every month but will be giving some months a go. Am commenting here as I could not get the RSVP to work. Hope that is OK.
By the way congratulations - what an amazing response.

I THINK I've posted workshop #2 painting. How do I verify it's actually received?
Thank you Richard, most appreciated.
Cheers

Thank you Richard. I've just ordered it. Sounds like it will take a bit to get here, but when it arrives I'll have a lot of fun with it.
