Congrats Edith - loved your painting - very vibrant, subtle shadows on the vase, lovely touch. Great win.
Just realised you're from northern Ireland, I'm from Dublin, here in Florida now , will be back home next week. Are you going to 'Art In The Open' in Wexford August weekend, this is it's fifth year and It's going from strength to strength. Graham Booth and Paul Maloney from your neck of the woods, have been coming for the last few years.
Keep up the great work - Hazel

Hi Edith,  I am so sorry that you have to go through an operation.  I hope you will mend really fast and get back to making more of your gorgeous art.  I will be thinking of you.

Warmest wishes for a speedy recovery.

I am always looking forward to a nice chat. :-). I would love to learn something about painting seascapes...something you do so very well. Hope you had a lovely holiday.

Thank you Edith for your warm welcome.  I am sure I will learn lots from both you and other artists.  I especially like the realism in your work.  It's outstanding!!

Hi Edith, I am taking a break at the moment. I am taking a flying leap out of my comfort zone where I found the most difficult subject (for me) and I am trying to paint in COLOR! Leaves are not easy for me, so I am doing trees (about a zillion) in a pond with reflections. NOT realistic in the colors but pretty ones I hope. I was so tired of studying in my color class I though I would take a break. Wish me luck! LOL I am enjoying your gallery so much while I am writing this. You do such beautiful work. Oh, we are on the coast of TX for about 3 weeks. The weather is lovely, lots of birding sites, great beaches, and I found sand dollars! How fun is that! Where will you spend the holidays? Ro
