I do value that encouraging comment Pauline - thankyou! Have just looked at your photos - I am in awe of your spontaneity! Your work is full of life!! I am so enjoying being part of such an inspiring community as this as I had lost a lot of motivation and direction with my painting.
Thanks Pauline glad to be your friend..As you say not many of us on this side!
Painting is what you want it to be..sometimes it goes incredibly well and other times really, really badly........Once you get a hand on the rudimentals ( and you have) the rest is easy!! Perseverance is the key word!! ...........and I'm sure you have lots of that.
I love the variety, styles and colours in your work..very refreshing!
Pauline, I alway appreciate your keen observation and sincere suggestion with warm encouragement. And most of all your care. I love your work very much too.
Great news Pauline, you've made me a happy bunny, and I'm not out of bed yet.
The water treatment in Bath is amazing, if you don't know about it, I suggest you go along and get a brochure. The Olympic team should get this just before they compete.
Looking forward to seeing more of your work and to future developments.
As we say in Ireland, TOP OF THE MORNING TO YOU.
Trevor.
PS, GETTING UP NOW!
Great to get in touch Pauline, hope you'll agree to my request.
Doubt if I'll make it to Bath again, but do you know a friend of mine who lives there, Peter Hendy? Recently knighted and commissioner for London's traffic.
I have a lot of catching up to do and will welcome your help when I show my inability with acrylics and brushes. Also I like Bath, having spent a short time there getting the hydra treatment to cure some pain, which it did. Once again ,Love your work,
Hi Polly ,thank you so much for your wonderful comments about my work.I consider it an honour coming from an accomplished artist such as yourself .I always strive to better my technique and learn as much as i can from others around me.
Thank you Pauline for your compliments. Yes I am a happy person finally in my old age, even though I can't paint worth a darn I am having fun learning! smiles :)}
Hi Pauline, Thank you so much for your tip for painting greens from Paynes Grey and Lemmon Yellow. I didn't used this combo before and will surtainly try. Black with yellow I did use, but I'm always in to find new, beautiful and natural green colours. I'm planning to paint a landscape, so I will try how this combo looks. It will at least come in my little painting moleskin with al kind of colourmixes. Thanks again Pauline and good luck with your painting project.

Great job Pauline. In fact the black car is one of the main pulls. It bring the composition down as well as balancing the picture!
