http://www.fivepencilmethod.com/free-video-drawing-tutorials/ This is Darell Tanks free lessons that I got involved in a while back. One of the things he teaches is called the tapered stroke. Seeing this drawing you have done with the detail for realism, I think you will like his drawings which are very realistic people. Go look at my gallery/phots - look for the 2 balls. That was the practice I did using the tapered stroke. Eventually, there are art lessons from him that you can purchase, but the free lessons give some great ideas. /// A while back I got involved with a group of ladies who went through the book Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain. I really did not think I could draw, and right away doing the exercises in the book I did some good drawings. I was so pleased with myself. There are some of the exercise drawings on my gallery too. The last things I drew was the turkey and elk using what I learned out of the book Drawing Rt Brain.////You naturally "see" and have the ability to draw well I think. Just a little more ideas to consider so that you "notice" something that you did not see before and you will be well on your way to being a portrait artist (if that is your interest). Ro

Yes,I know I have to practice more and more,I'm not so good at drawing people's faces! thanks for your comment!
This is pretty. The chin turns under well. The mouth and eyes are good. I think the nose needs to be a bit wider. Usually the side of the nose lines up more with the inside fo the eye. I encourage you to do more of these as you are quite good. Ro
