Dor, I hope one day I can surrendered myself to bold brush strokes as you are doing. I enjoy this one , Apart from what others mentioned already, it is done with bold brush strokes and big blogs of color under the well planed design and control through the whole procedure of painting . Wonderful job!
Thank you very much Nancy. I was pleased with my trees, but I gave up on that foreground.....shame on me..........smiles and happy painting Nancy.............: ))
Thank you very much Barbara. Smiles coming your way........dor:))
Hi Sharon
Thank you very much! I was going to try another one but life got in the way.............smiles to you dor:))
Really admire your soft mountains and sky and the rich colors.
Nice warmth! I'm always a bit leary to try one of Richard's paintings. But, if I have time today, I might give it a try! Mine stands out like a sore thumb!
Catherine, Rita, Pauline, Ngaire, Ann and Mary Jo, thank you for taking the time to comment. They make me feel good and make me want to keep on trying. I really like using this limited pallette, I have so much to learn about mixing colors. What suprises me is how very little, only a tiny touch of a color mixed into another can change it so much. Making brown and that mauvie purple was a big challenge. Hope to do another painting before the time is up. I will be looking at all of your painting. Happy painting and smiles to you'al. dor:))
I really like your painting, Dor. I really like your trees and your colors. Your mauvey purple is lovely.
Love your bright colors !
