Thank you so much for your wonderful comments Ningning, i always love receiving your words! I am sure you would make an excellent job of painting porcelain you are very accomplished artist:-}}
Beautiful, especially that blue tit salt pot. Even it is in the darkness, I can feel the beauty of it. Your value and colour temprature changes , patten details of blue flowers, the shape of it are all so skillfully handled. It has all the quality that a porcelain has. Wonderful! My home has a lot of blue and white colour porcelains , I never dare to paint them , too complecated. One day, I will try.
Thank you so much Dor, Yes i was indeed most satisfied with this painting. I have never succeeded in doing anything so complex before - being on Richards site and studying the work of so many great artists has definitely given me more confidence to have a go at a challenge - I'm so pleased you like it! :-}}}
Incredible! You sure aren't lazy! I see so much beautiful work, hard work. I hope you have been rewarded with much satisfaction from creating this painting, Pauline. Smiles for you :-)
Thank you so much, Linda Cristina and Gail your words give me so much encouragement :-}}
Wow, a very complex still life Pauline,you did a great job! Beautiful use of color and the reflections are awesome!
Oh I forgot to mention that i have added feet to the little bird - I must have overlooked this - i will wait to see if any more critiques come up - and then re post!
Thanks Ana Charles, Ann, Jessica, and Jon - for your most encouraging comments - Ana thank you i have now given the bowl a hard edge down the left hand side it looks much better for that. It was ambitious Jon with lots of different elements in the set up - i am looking forward to setting up something a bit different to paint this weekend, onwards and hopefully upwards! :-}}
